Taurex App
A trading app rebuilt so portfolio, watchlist and ordering read at a glance.
The problem
Taurex’s UX/UI struggled to meet user expectations: clunky navigation, buried features, and dense presentation of complex financial data led to longer onboarding and lower engagement. Traders — both novice and experienced — felt the friction.
What we did
We rebuilt the app around clarity: simpler navigation, better feature accessibility, and a cleaner way to read financial data. Modern visuals and smoother interactions made the mobile experience feel calm instead of loud, reducing frustration and lifting both retention and day-to-day efficiency.
Portfolio
The Portfolio view was rebuilt to deliver value at a glance. We restyled dense elements, removed repetitive content like “2 Open Positions,” and eliminated the position drawer to open up whitespace. Positions unified into a single feed with status tagging, and high-value data — volume, position size — moved into view so traders get insight without hunting for it.
Watchlist
Watchlist was tuned to inform and invite action. Position status indicators show open, pending, or closed at a glance; a chart surfaces recent market movement with relevant data nearby. Buy and Sell buttons became highly visible and now include price information, making it easier to act on a signal the moment it appears.
Discover
We introduced high-value category filtering with key metrics on interactive, scrollable cards. A quick-filter and tab system highlights the categories that matter to traders and surfaces the most relevant data fast. Structural adjustments maximised content above the fold so the critical signal is immediately visible.
Ordering
The manual entry field was revised to handle larger amounts, paired with a slider for quick position sizing. Stop Loss, Take Profit, and Partial Close fields were optimised to reduce scrolling. A redesigned Buy/Sell toggle supports up to nine numeric characters, keeping the flow smooth across a wide range of assets and prices.
